WEDNESDAY NIGHT | BOYZ SOCIAL CLUB- Meeting We meet in a Safe, Open, Affirming Location every Wednesday Night. We are located at the Thomas Judd Lounge and Entertainment Center. We have a weekly themed event, time for discussion on issues facing you or our community. Our purpose is to help educate, affirm, support, and expand our Community. We all have to take some personal responsibility in protecting our self from STI's, HIV, and other diseases. We are responsible for social activism, having fun, and being being good role models to the younger and future generations of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Questioning, and Allies! We like to have fun, yet stress the importance of know your HIV Status, educating you on issues, and helping everyone be proud about who they are. We are here to support you, work with you, and encourage your participation in our Community. Being G,L,B,T,Q, or A is hard enough, without split factions within our own community. We are hoping to be the bridge to building strong, supportive working relationships between all the factions of our community. We meet at 6:00pm and usually run until around 8:00pm. Come visit us, and visit us again! It's different each week, we'd love to see you and your friends! Give us a chance! |
EVERY THIRD (3rd) Wednesday of the MONTH | BOYZ FEAST: Every Third Wednesday of the month a group of great people gather for a meal together! Everyone, who can, brings a dish to pass. It's delicious, some months we have themes, other months it's just a free-for-all! It's a fun time, it's a Free Meal, it's a chance to network, build friendships, and just be ok with being yourself in a loving, affirming environment. All your table service is provided, plus refreshments. It's ok if you don't have the resources or time to bring a dish. There is always more than enough food for everyone! It is always so darn delicious! We highly hope that you can come out and attend this really fun and exciting event! We meet in the Thomas Judd Lounge and Entertainment Center, located at 1221 Sixth ST, Suite 312. We can get in at 6:00pm, with dinner starting around 6:15pm. But even if you're running late, we hope you will still come! Like we said, there is always more than enough food! Won't you join us? Be Out and Proud! We are Community! |
